Event Description

Join our Filmmaker-in-Residence Matt Lauterbach for this four-part series and learn how to create your very own micro-doc - a 60 second to six-minute film about anything that fascinates you!

Matt works with Chicago studio Kartemquin Films to make documentaries and has experience directing, editing, and producing big budget films. Work side-by-side with a professional and learn how to work a camera, structure your story, edit your footage and finalize your film for a public Showcase on May 18. If you're considering the Teen Film Fest in the summer, this is the perfect opportunity to hone your skills to become a renowned filmmaker. Space is limited, must attend all four sessions to participate.

Registering for the March 25 session will register you for the entire series, March 25-28, from 2-4 p.m.
