Purchase Illinois license plate stickers at the library’s Checkout Desk, until ½ hour before closing. You will need: 

  • Your Illinois Vehicle Registration Renewal Notice, current registration card, or Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) 
  • Your current driver's license and license plate number.

Register to vote at the Info Desk. Registrations are not taken in the 28 days before an election.

To register, you must be:

  • A U.S. citizen
  • At least 18 years of age by the general election
  • A resident of the

The library offers free test proctoring services for Arlington Heights cardholders only.

Test proctoring is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. by appointment only. Please provide at least one week's notice.
