Event Description

Nastasiya Marusyk will walk us through a short story about the traditions of Ukrainian beadwork, including the types and names of ancient Ukrainian beaded jewelry, and how Ukrainian women wore necklaces 100 years ago. She will share where she finds inspiration for her bead art design and show samples of works created in different techniques. You will get a chance to see the technique of loom weaving for creating traditional Ukrainian jewelry. This presentation will be moderated by Helen Pryma.
