Space rentals at the Makerplace are available, following the prioritization of library-sponsored activities, classes, and programs. The kitchen is available for both commercial and non-commercial rentals.
Kitchen rentals include use of kitchen equipment, cookware, and some cleaning supplies. Non-commercial renters are required to participate in a kitchen orientation to review equipment and safety protocols.
Renters must provide all their own food products, consumables, and personal items.
All renters are responsible for their own set-up, clean-up, and, if applicable, selecting and hiring their own chefs, instructors, or catering companies.
Liability insurance is required for all kitchen rentals. Non-commercial renters may be covered under home or organizational insurance and name the library as additionally insured.
Alcohol is allowed if approved by the library administration, and the server must have current BASSET certification.
All events must be free of charge. Only fundraising that directly benefits the library is allowed, with prior approval.
