Event Description

Who doesn't love a tasty appetizer? Join Chef Grace of Scratchboard Kitchen in this hands-on culinary class full of recipes and tips to prepare an assortment of apps for any occasion.

Chef Grace Goudie is Executive Chef at Arlington Heights' Scratchboard Kitchen. Her passion for cooking began at a young age and led her to the Culinary Institute of America in Napa, CA where she attended the Accelerated Culinary Arts Program. Upon graduation, she accepted a position at Thomas Keller’s Ad Hoc and was quickly promoted to Sous Chef. She then worked at The French Laundry, one of the top-rated restaurants in the world, before making her way back to the Chicago area. We are excited to bring her experience and passion for farm to table to the Makerplace kitchen.

Space is limited. This class is designed for adults 18+. Culinary classes are limited to one class per month, per Arlington Heights cardholder.

The Makerplace kitchen is not a nut-free, gluten-free, or other allergy free environment.
