Event Description

The 94th Academy Awards ceremony takes place March 27. Join us to see two Oscar-nominated films on Hendrickson Room's big screens!

Spencer - Screening at 1:30 p.m.

It is 1992 and Diana finds herself lost as she tries to drive to the Sandringham Estate to celebrate the holidays with the Royal Family. The cold treatment she receives upon her arrival is only exacerbated by her knowledge of her husband's affair and her acute awareness of the cage she is trapped in. The only bright spot of the supposed holiday is spending time with her sons, William and Harry. As the princess powers through three days of madness, she realizes what her next step should be. Starring Kristen Stewart, Timothy Spall, Jack Farthing, Jack Nielen, and Sean Harris (111 minutes, Rated R)

King Richard - Screening at 4 p.m.

Nominated for six Oscars including Best Picture, King Richard is a must-see before the Big Night. Richard Williams is determined to write his two daughters, Venus and Serena, into the history books. Training on tennis courts in Compton, Richard shapes the girls' adamant commitment and intense intuition. Together, the Williams family defies the odds. Starring Will Smith (nominated for Actor in a Leading Role), Aunjanue Ellis (nominated for Actress in a Leading Role) and Jon Bernthal. (144 minutes, rated PG-13)
