Event Description

If you attended our One Book, One Village author event and can't get Braiding Sweetgrass off your mind, come out to this discussion where we'll continue to discuss the work of Robin Wall Kimmerer, share our favorite moments and takeaways from her Oct. 21 event, and explore the elements of Braiding Sweetgrass that we'll carry forth after OBOV. Join your fellow community members virtually for this conversation.

Braiding Sweetgrass is an inspiring collection of essays about the natural world that weaves together Indigenous wisdom, plant science, and personal narrative, inviting readers to revitalize their connection with nature. As both a noted professor of Botany and a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, author Robin Wall Kimmerer shares a unique perspective of the world around us and the gifts of the earth.

Request your copy of the book through your AHML account or contact us to place your hold. This title is also available as an eBook and eAudiobook through cloudLibrary. Excerpted essays from the book are available for checkout in large type.

This program is presented as part of One Book, One Village
