The One and Only Bob by Katherine Applegate

In this sequel to The One and Only Ivan, Bob the dog sets out on a dangerous journey in search of his long-lost sister with the help of his two best friends, Ivan and Ruby. As a hurricane approaches and time is running out, Bob finds courage he never knew he had and learns the true meaning of friendship and family.

We will virtually discuss the book and complete a craft activity. If you'd like to bring a snack and beverage to our book discussion, please do so. For kids in 3rd and 4th grade with an adult.

Pick up a copy of the book, along with all the supplies for the activity starting Thursday October 1, at the Kids' World Desk or call 847-870-2459 and we'll send the supplies along with the book to the drive-up window. You can also use your own supplies from home. Below is a list of the supplies you will need to gather at home.

Clear circular jar (with a lid)

Dish soap 

Vinegar 

Water

Glitter (optional)

Food coloring (optional)
