Storytime in the Park, an Arlington Heights summertime favorite, returns with new safety precautions in place. Join us for a 20-minute outdoor storytime, and stop by the Bookmobile’s table to get a book bundle or activity kit to take home. 

Please familiarize yourself with our safety precautions before arriving: 

• Everyone over the age of 2 must wear a mask to join the storytime.

• If your child is over 2 years of age and has a medical condition or disability that prevents them from safely wearing a face covering, please contact us to request accommodations at accessibility@ahml.info

• The number of attendees will be limited in accordance to state guidelines. 

• When you arrive, staff will direct your family to a hula hoop. To encourage social distancing, during the storytime, children are asked to stay in their hula hoops. Browsing on the Bookmobile is not permitted at this time. 
• Browsing on the Bookmobile is not permitted at this time.

The Bookmobile will arrive at 10:30am. Storytime will begin around 10:40am. In case of bad weather, the storytime will be canceled.
