Event Description

Citizens Utility Board (CUB) returns to provide suggestions on how to reduce your utility bills and tap into money-saving, clean energy programs. Space is limited to 16 participants. No walk-ins, please.

Speak one-on-one with a CUB counselor to receive a personalized analysis of your bills. At CUB's clinic, you will receive information on:

  • Solar and electrification programs that can help lower your utility bills
  • Rebates for energy-saving programs
  • Strategies for reducing energy costs through efficiency programs and DIY solutions for homeowners and renters
  • Spotting unnecessary charges on your gas and electric bills
  • Income-qualified financial assistance programs

The Citizens Utility Board is a 501(c)(4) organization fighting for clean energy, consumer protections, and lower utility bills for ratepayers. Established by The Illinois General Assembly in 1893, CUB represents the interests of residential and small-business utility customers throughout the Land of Lincoln. Learn more about CUB.

Please note: Each participant will have an approximately 15-minute consultation with a CUB counselor. Please bring physical copies of any bills you wish to discuss with a CUB counselor.
