Join Filmmaker-in-Residence Matt Lauterbach to create your own film in this five-part, hands-on workshop. With an emphasis on memoir or family story, Matt will teach you how to share your story through film in a memorable and impactful way.

Matt works with Chicago studio Kartemquin Films to make documentaries and has experience directing, editing, and producing big budget films. You will learn how to work a camera, structure your story, edit your footage and finalize your film for a public Showcase on May 18. Arlington Heights cardholders only. Space is limited. Must attend all 5 sessions to participate.
