Event Description

Baking bread from scratch is one of the most rewarding things you can do in your kitchen. And it is something that anyone can do. Join Andrea Pracht of My Kitchen Clatter as we learn the basics of no-knead breads and how to make a beautiful crusty loaf of bread in your home oven.

Space is limited. This class is designed for adults 18+. Culinary classes are limited to one class per month, per Arlington Heights cardholder.

The Makerplace kitchen is not a nut-free, gluten-free, or other allergy free environment.

Please note: 
Attendees at this program will be required to show proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter the Makerplace kitchen due to the latest Cook County Department of Public Health COVID-19 Mitigation Order

According to the order: 
An individual is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.  

 Proof of vaccination means:  

  •  A vaccination record card or record  

  • An app that provides a digital record of vaccinations, or  

  • A digital or physical photo of the card or record  

Persons age 16 and older must also provide identification (driver’s license, government, work, or school ID) with information that corresponds to the vaccination proof.
