Explore the value maps can add to your genealogy research with Ginger Frere, a Newberry Library Scholar-in-Residence. We’ll discuss maps of early Illinois and where to find them, as well as the stories that maps can help you tell as a family historian. We’ll look at migration routes, land ownership, political jurisdictions, and more.
