Event Description

Join us to bust some boredom using simple supplies that you probably already have at home! We’ll make kinetic sand, homemade face paint, and marble mazes. This event will be streamed on YouTube. For grades K-3 and their parents.

Gather your supplies ahead of time to craft along with us!

Kinetic sand supplies:

  • Baking soda
  • Baking powder
  • Dish soap
  • A big bowl and spoon

Homemade face paint supplies:

  • Lotion
  • Corn starch
  • Food coloring
  • Multiple small bowl and spoon

Marble mazes supplies:

  • Half of a small box. A shoe box or the lid for a puzzle/board game (don’t worry, the maze can be taken apart if you need to use the lid again after)
  • Popsicle craft sticks. If you don’t have popsicle sticks, you could use straws, or cut out at least ten 6x1” strips of cardboard, cardstock, or construction paper.
  • Tape. Any kind will work, but duct tape would be best. Can also use packing or scotch tape.
  • A small ball, like a marble, bouncy ball, or ping pong ball.
  • Scissors
  • A blank piece of paper and a pencil
