Join Andrée Cooligan as she links the themes in Fiona Davis' The Stolen Queen with firsthand experience from years in Egypt. With a unique background as a diplomat, visual artist and Egyptology enthusiast, Andrée will present insights on ancient Egypt and the role of antiquities collections (e.g., the MET, British Museum, UNESCO), all while leveraging Fiona Davis' honed tribute to archaeology and the human spirit.
Andrée Noëlle Cooligan, a former Canadian Ambassador to Finland with nearly 30 years in Canada’s foreign service, has turned her passion for ancient Egypt into a semi-retired career shift. She continues to work and study in this field and is a member of The Canadian Archaeological Association, The Archaeological Institute of America, and the International Association of Egyptologists.
