Event Description

Ever wonder about the thrill of bicycle riding in a group, but were not sure how to get started?  Join members of the Arlington Heights Bicycle Club (AHBC) for an engaging session on the essentials of group cycling. Hear firsthand stories of how group riding transformed solo cyclists into part of a vibrant riding community.  Whether you are a seasoned cyclist of just getting started, this program will inspire you to take your riding to the next level!

Pete Schmelzer and Mary Pat Krones regularly organize and lead group bicycle rides of 10 to 50 miles throughout the Northwest suburbs, as board members of the Arlington Heights Bicycle Club.
