Meet Jason Reynolds, New York Times best-selling author of books appealing to audiences from middle school through adult. At the age of nine he began writing poetry, drawing inspiration from rap music. His debut novel was When I Was the Greatest and he is most recently known for the books As Brave as You, Long Way Down and his Track series. Jason Reynolds is a National Book Award Honoree, a Kirkus Award winner, a Walter Dean Myers Award winner, an NAACP Image Award Winner, and the recipient of multiple Coretta Scott King honors. Recommended age 10 and up.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Following his one-hour presentation, there will be a book signing. Books will be available for purchase courtesy of The Book Stall.
