NOTES

Read by Jennys Nunez

During the destruction of her Taíno village, Karaya is transported to the struggling finca (farm) of Juan and Diego Flores. Now being in modern day Borikén (Puerto Rico), Karaya again finds herself thrown into the middle of a battle to keep her ancestral home safe from outside invaders. She does not realize it, but her path is being guided by a mysterious force that has plans for her future. Unknowingly, Karaya inspires Juan to fight for the finca he has always loved. As they venture on this new path, Karaya experiences romantic feelings that she never thought she would have again. Despite all this, Karaya wishes to return home and must choose between her Borikén past or Borikén future
