NOTES

Britain, 1800 and 1689 Enchanted by the lore surrounding the ruins of Blackriver Castle and bedazzled by the legend of its long dead pirate owner, Rane Warclaw, Areena Slade explores the fortress only to be summoned by a man's whisper that lures her to search the sequestered cave below the castle at cliffside. When Areena stumbles upon the watery tomb of a leviathan ship anchored amidst the cavern, she innocently boards the Nemesis and is flung through time to the year 1689. Captured in the seductive embrace of the pirate whose past is haunted by bloodshed, Areena's captivated by Captain Rane Warclaw, the devastatingly handsome rogue who refuses to trust her innocent when she avows of having been thrown into his time from the year 1800. Rane damns Areena a spy for the British Crown, however, soon he dubs her otherwise, discovering that Areena cradles in her arms a logbook that Rane's father inscribed, a book she found secluded within Dunfallon Castle, a fortress which was stripped of Rane's possession after he was accused of murdering a woman -- the book secludes clues to an enormous gold treasure coveted by the current British king. Once Rane realizes that his captive possesses a blood tie to royalty, and she unknowingly grasps one of the keys to revealing his father's legendary fortune, Rane demands that Areena choose her fate… marry him or be slain by his cutthroat pirates. With accepting his hand in marriage, has Areena tumbled into the lair of satanic evil noosing Rane in its sinister claws, for he's barbarically hunted by bloodthirsty villains owing to his assassin stature, his piracy and the secrets veiling his father's mysterious treasure? Will Rane Warclaw, the beguiler of her lusty heart, ever surrender his love to her, or has Areena been wickedly seduced by a pirate's riveting whisper into a death snare?
