NOTES

The Jackalope is a North American folklore mythical creature that combines a jackrabbit and an antelope. Unfortunately, it has a gruesome side to its mythos. Apparently, jackrabbits in the wild are subjected to an illness where they grow horn and bone-like tumors from their head and from other parts of their body. It's namesake became popular when taxidermists began attaching actual antlers to their jackrabbit corpses, regardless if the animal perished from said tumors. This Jackalope Jr is an updated and upgraded version of a previous design of mine. I wanted a simple form with the cult-kawaii aesthetic that you all know and love. The finished figure is roughly 5.5 inches tall (13.97cm) using 2mm crochet hook with Stylecraft Special DK yarn. For a bigger, cuddlier figure I recommend 3.25mm crochet hook with Red Heart Super Saver yarn in similar colors.
