Most of us get caught up in the narrative that we are in fact a product of our environment, but Lexington Rae very quickly decides that she will create the environment in which she becomes a product of. After experiencing unthinkable childhood trauma, Lexington meets Deandré and falls in love in a way that she never imagined possible after all of the pain she's experienced. Deandré is a good man with bad boy habits and naturally, Lexington follows his lead. She keeps a strong mind and cold heart but when things go left, that cold heart shatters.
