This fictional family saga story took place over twelve days in September 1994. The setting is Farnsworth College, a small liberal arts school in Central Maryland's Catoctin Highlands. Nearby, is a US Army medical research facility called Fort Douglas. The two main characters are twenty-three-year-old Kyle and fiancée, Jennifer. Both attended Farnsworth College as graduate students. The fall semester has begun, and Kyle, while dusting some furniture in an empty faculty office, discovered a padlocked and a tightly chained file cabinet containing forgotten classified files from the Vietnam War years. The revelation of a missing fortune, betrayal and murder, both students now faced in a death-defying predicament
