'Have you ever wondered what adventure smells like?' Tawny Tidno, with all the innocence of a sixteen-year-old girl, asked this question. On holiday in a small town in Albania, along with her protective sister and her friends, she would discover the answer to this question, but not like it. Her sister and her friends have been kidnapped by minotaurs and after just escaping herself, Tawny needs to somehow save them. For the first time in her life, she has to be the one protecting others. Teaming up with a mysterious black minotaur named Cree, they decide to face these monsters. As Tawny and Cree fight back, they fall deeper into the world of the minotaurs and Tawny discovers that Cree also has a personal reason to fight.
