NOTES

"Planets in Motion 2022" offers a whole new approach to astrology. It shares a fantastic introduction to thinking about both natal placements and transits and includes many excellent free resources. This book does something that no other transit book does: it considers the natal placements by sign, and the transiting placements by sign - making it personal and relevant to the specific age groups referenced. Most astrologers and astrology students study the natal chart as if it is a thing fixed in time. In his book, Eric Francis offers the approach to study transits - the relationships between moving planets and those in the birth chart. This brings the chart to life, with events in real life that demonstrate the meaning of the chart. While transits are considered an advanced technique, this book takes the view that they are elementary, and easy to follow and understand. A typical transit book might cover the Saturn return. "Planets in Motion" covers the Saturn return in Aquarius, where it is happening now. This book is excellent for those considering the influences of the newer planets Chiron and Eris, as well as established planets Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. There is a great section on the Galactic Core and its influence, which you will hardly read about anywhere else. This is a must-read for anyone with an interest in the fascinating field of astrology
