Emily Ibbotson is frantic when Callum Farquhar, her partner for the weekend, vanishes from the B&S ball. In desperation and as a last resource after searching everywhere, she calls in her friend and Private Investigator, Sonoma (Sonny) Whittington to help. Why Callum was, so keen to spend the weekend at a festival in a remote rural Central Queensland town is a mystery to all concerned. After a few days of finding nothing to indicate how or why he vanished, or where he is now, Sonny develops dark thoughts about the whole affair.
