Seventy five percent of drug addict will relapse within the first year of completing an in-patient drug treatment program. In 2017, drug overdose was the single greatest cause of injury-related death in the United States and seventy thousand Americans died from it. These statistics are personal to me. I was a homeless drug addict in the year 2010. I lost my job, home, family and friends. My goal is to share my direct experience as a recovering addict to help people understand the human lives behind these statistics.
