NOTES

My story starts with an author who has decided she wanted to write a ghost story. Honey moved into a mansion, which was supposed to have wall to wall ghosts. When she set eyes on the place, she thinks she has been had until action begins to start. The ghosts do a few things in the hope of scaring her witless to send her screaming. But their plans backfire. They adopt Honey as a member of their family, like they did in the past, when a homeless boy strayed into their over grown garden to hide. He legally becomes the son of all the ghosts. Elden grew up under their guidance and is now nearing the end of his life. The arrival of Honey gives the ghosts a new interest instead of playing pranks in unsuspecting people like zooming around the street in a stolen police car. Now, they have a purpose, which was taken from them, when the young son grew up and didn't want to be a pirate chase any more. He became a lawyer. In the story, there are many characters, real or ghost, to keep the reader enthralled to the very last page. This is not a scary ghost story. These ones mix with, and help, the town's people
