NOTES

Read by Collective, Bible Reading

The Book of Job is the first poetic book in the Christian Old Testament, and can also be found in the Ketuvim section of the Jewish Tanakh. Widely praised for its literary qualities, it depicts Job's imperishable love for God, and to test that love, God takes everything from him. Even in the face of great adversity Job makes grand proclamations of his undying faith to his Lord, and as a result, God rewards him heavily. This book is beautifully voiced by The Bible Reading Collective
