NOTES

Title from title frames

The art world of the American West is bursting with life as we discover in this program where artists are influenced by the natural beauty surrounding them. Denver's International Airport, often called DIA, America's largest airport land wise, is an architectural and artistic wonder. Outside, its distinctive white tension fabric roof was designed to remind people of the snow-capped Rocky Mountains in winter. Inside, its public art program features sculptures, murals and installations, as well as a permanent art collection. Next we visit a Cowboy Boots' Store; then we meet world-class crafters, young and old writers, painters and sculptors, and performers who have found inspiration in the grandeur of the land in this part of the country; also we see work celebrating Mexico's Dia de los Muertos
