NOTES

Lieutenant Sean Riley, a United States Coast Guardsmen was doing what his solemn oath asked of him, patrolling the seas, enforcing US regulations, and saving lives. While observing offshore oil platforms, Riley and his crew aboard the Point Long Beach, discovered they were being watched, not the other way around. On shore, the Meridian Oil Company receives a blackmail note. Meridian Oil soon uncovers information that Exxon oil was also blackmailed. Exxon chose not to pay the ransom. In retaliation, the Exxon Valdez was run aground on Prince William Sound. Terrorists infected Meridian Oil Company's computer system with a virus. The virus instructed Meridian's oil platforms in the eco-sensitive Point Arguello Project to greatly increase operations. A navigation error and dense fog put a tanker out of the shipping lanes. Lieutenant Riley and his crew must respond but which crisis is worse. And what can he do about it aboard an 82' foot vessel
