NOTES

Mel has been estranged from her sister for over a decade, but is happily married to the man with whom she plans to grow old. Her confidence in the solidity of their bond is rock solid until she suspects that her best friend wants him for herself. Unexpectedly, she is reunited with her long lost sister and must make things right between them at a critical time when she needs to be keeping an eye on her husband. But before she can make anything right, she needs to discover what went wrong in the first place. The truth would be revealed to Mel amid some challenging and irritating circumstances. She and her sister are abducted shortly after being reunited. Somehow, she must persuade her pregnant sister to marry a man who adores her, yet from whom she has been avoiding in order to be released from their quirky captors. She meets an eccentric new friend with a food fetish and becomes envious of the loving relationship this new friend has with her own brother. Her sister goes into labor unexpectedly with no time to make it to a hospital. Plus, she must win a cake contest to drive off her former best friend. Trouble is, her former best friend is a domestic diva who can bake fantastic cake in her sleep, while Mel has yet to bake an edible cake
