Michael Karountzoses is expecting a life-changing promotion at work and his wife has invited his entire family over for Christmas Eve dinner to share the big news. Michael was hoping for a quiet night, but they all show up and some unexpected guests do as well. Right before the dinner Michael learns he didn't receive the promotion and realizes he will have to spend the evening with his relatives; dodging their questions, putting up with their antics and dealing with losing the promotion
