Make an appointment to meet with the Jobs & Career Librarian for help with career exploration & transitions, job search strategies, skill improvement and interview preparation. A one-hour meeting with the Jobs & Career Librarian is a personalized, uninterrupted session where we'll focus on your specific needs. Appointments are also available to meet with a resume or LinkedIn profile reviewers. Expert resume reviewers are available free of charge to Arlington Heights cardholders. Daytime virtual sessions are available at ahml.info/form/schedule-an-appointment

Please Note: 

  • You can have up to three 1-hour sessions per year. 
  • Appointments are only for 60 minutes.
  • Career-related documents, such as job applications, may contain private and sensitive information about, such as your date of birth, social security number, and home address. Please take care not to share such information with the Resume & LinkedIn Profile Reviewers. 
  • If you would like to follow up with the reviewer, please submit another appointment request. 
  • Reviewer will only work with you on your resume or LinkedIn profile. Reviewers will not write your resume for you nor create a profile for you. 
  • Customers should request appointments for themselves and not on behalf of anyone else. Reviewers will only meet with the customer whose resume is being reviewed.  



You can also meet with a resume reviewer via Career Center from Tutor.com. Virtual meeting with a tutor for resume creation and review are available. Log into Career Center and click "Connect with a Tutor" now. Select "Job Help" to meet with a tutor. Tutors are available from 12pm-12am. You can also upload a resume and/or cover letter for review. An expert will look it over and provide feedback within 24 hours.
