Leaders do not decide their future; they choose their behaviors, and their behaviors determine their future. Your circumstances cannot control you if you are bold enough with your stance. Lead from your foundation of vision, values, and virtues. What you chase will always run from you. The posture of your heart will define your value as a leader. As leaders, we are always at the crossroads of choices. It is easier to be a leader when one sees someone they want to be. At one point, you felt uninspired, and searching for a motivational equalizer in every patient's face was the best way to be redirected. As leaders, the choices we make today create someone's reality tomorrow. Remember, the equator geographically separates us from the opposite hemispheres. Juxtaposed is a leadership reminder about the chances we partake in daily, the path we navigate, and the latitude that brings us closer to a happy state every moment, every time. Leaders build policies, not politics. Politics signifies insecurity. It is damaging, hurts people, and destroys the future. Build your leadership with relevance through ongoing education from credible academic institutions. How can a leader teach others if they are not well-trained? Avoid biases and discrimination because color exudes forward thinking. Cultivate value in diverse shades of differences. Meaningful leadership is built with experience, energy, and education.
