The vicious stabbing and murder of a young woman in her own home looks to be the work of a stalker. But when DI Bliss and his team investigate, several other people close to the victim are quickly added to their suspect list. Bliss also finds himself being questioned at the highest level about his own past, and has to battle to defend himself while continuing to investigate the murder.
