Gina Gershon, Drea De Matteo, Lori Petty, Marc Blucas, Shelly Cole, Ivan Martin

The fist-pumping Prey for Rock & Roll stars the electrifying Gina Gershon as Jacki, a rocker who worries that she may never make it big. Along with bandmates played by Drea de Matteo (The Sopranos), Lori Petty (A League of Their Own), and Shelly Cole (Gilmore Girls), she has spent years of struggle playing gigs up and down the Sunset Strip. But when that break finally arrives, their lives are turned upside down. The feature directing debut of veteran music supervisor Alex Steyermark, and based on Cheri Lovedog's autobiographical play, Prey for Rock & Roll is a powerfully authentic portrayal of DIY rock bands, with Gershon singing all the film's songs herself (produced by Stephen Trask of Hedwig and the Angry Inch fame and backed by an all-star band of women alt-rockers). A film ahead of its time, it has established itself as an LGBTQ+ touchstone and a rock and roll cult classic
