There is a certain amount of comfort that comes along with knowing who you are and having an understanding of who God created you to be. It is when we are in our dark seasons that we begin to question everything about ourselves. It is also in our dark seasons that we discovered things about ourselves that lie dormant within us waiting to emerge. We are told that everything we need for this life is already within us. That means that before the foundations of the earth God knew us (Jeremiah 29:11). That tells me that God knows my life from the beginning to the end because it was already written. It also tells me that He knew the mistakes I would make before they were even made. He also knew that I would walk down the wrong paths and lose my way. And with everything He knew about me, He still loved me. And that is exactly the purpose behind my book. I want you to know that we have been given the power to rewrite our stories. And regardless of what we may experience in life; no matter how painful and ugly it is never give up on yourself
