A gunshot sends a motorcycle careening across the Klondike Highway leaving a trail of blood. Members of an anti-casino group are targeted by persons unknown. A beloved citizen of Dawson is stabbed to death in broad daylight. A hate group destroys First Nation artifacts and invades an important celebration. Lydia Falkner longs to return to her Yukon River sanctuary, but her life has been threatened. The Mounties are baffled as to if and how all of these events are connected.
