This story starts with Kati, a single mother of a third-grade son, who joins forces with Izzy, who is a frustrated public-school teacher. Together, they recruit other parents who are also unsatisfied with the school system. These parents discover how to work within their public school system to make education more fun, challenging and successful for their children.
