Hild is a Valkyrie. She and her Valkyrie sisters are in the service of the Allfather. And they all know the prophecy. That said that the royal children will kill the enemy of the gods. When Hild's sister Skuld receives a vision of the future. Odin sends Trud, Hild and Skuld to Rome to make sure the royal family is safe. While investigating the magic city they uncover frightening evidence that something is trying to claw its way in through the magic city's defences. Sigornia, the arrogant leader of the royal court ignores their findings. She declines all help from Asgards Valkyries. This is a mistake. Hild has seen the evidence; she knows that the royal family is in grave danger. The question is if they will realize it before it is too late?
