For most the date 12/02/2021 has no real significance. The fact that the number is a palindrome and an ambigram are interesting, but nothing more. For most. For one historian, however, the date becomes an obsession. Popping over and over in strange tales from the past, each linked by the black-eyed speakers, the tales of resurrection and that awful, fabled, date. At first, he believes he has stumbled across a strange historic quirk, a mystery to be unraveled, but as time goes on and the date creeps closer and closer, the number's dark implications become more and more immediate and all the more terrifying
