Az is a seven years old girl lives in a small village with her parents. She will soon have a baby sister Jargal. It was the most joyful and happiest moments for her life. But this did not last long, because her mother dies from birth difficulty. Tseden, girl's father, took his wife's passing very well, but he still had to raise his two daughters by himself in a hard condition. He loses his job and runs out of money. But Az tries to help her father go through this hard time and grows to be strong and intelligent little girl. She helps taking her of her little sister and as well as her father. Tseden was still in a mourning after his wife's passing, but soon with her daughters help, he tries to get his life together. He starts a new business, selling fresh milk in the neighboring city. Often times, the girls would stay home themselves and wait for their father to return. As their life gets better Tseden dies in a freak car accident. Az with her little sister Jargal goes to the city by themselves to look for their father without knowing he was dead, gets lost in the city and separates from her sister
