COVID-19 Vaccine Information

We have compiled a list of resources to help you access information about the COVID-19 vaccine. All residents of Illinois 5 years old and over are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine, and 18 years and older for the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. Below you will find details about locations for receiving the vaccine. We have included links for residents in nearby counties.

TESTING LOCATIONS Due to high demand many testing locations require appointments. 

Arlington Racetrack: Testing and vaccinations are available at the racetrack. Click the link for the details. Run by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

CVS: Appointments only. Make an appointment online.

Walgreens: Appointments only. Drive-up testing. Make an appointment online. 

APPOINTMENTS FOR IN-HOME VACCINATIONS Call the Village of Arlington Heights at 847-368-5760 and ask for Nursing Services to schedule an in-home vaccine. If you are not a resident of Arlington Heights, but live in Cook County, fill out this form or call 1-833-308-1988, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday to request an in-home vaccine.

Cook County Community Vaccination Program: Vaccination events taking place in suburban Cook County.

CVS: Walk-ins are welcome or make an appointment online.

Meijer: Make an appointment online or call the pharmacy in Rolling Meadows at 847-690-1210.

Northwest Community Healthcare: Appointments are available by phone at 847-618-0242 or online at vaccineschedule.nch.org/mychart/covid19# . Also, NCH has opened a walk-in COVID-19 first dose vaccination clinic for people 12 years old+ on Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. at 3060 Salt Creek Road, Arlington Heights. If you are over 18 years old, you can receive a vaccine at one of the Immediate Care Centers by appointment only. If you are homebound, call to schedule an in-home vaccine.

Osco: Register online or walk-in.

Walgreens: You will need to log in to your Walgreens account to access the calendar or call 1-800-925-4733 to make an appointment. Walgreens offers same-day appointments and walk-in vaccinations.

Walmart: Must create an online account to make an appointment. Walmart and Sam's Club also offer walk-in vaccinations.
