Adult LitCrate

Welcome to the Adult LitCrate book subscription series. When you register for a session, you will receive a personally curated box, every other month for 6 months (3 boxes total). 
  
The next registration will open on June 1 at 12:00 pm when the library opens. Pick-ups for the next session will begin the 1st week of July. 
 
There is a new procedure to sign up for LitCrate starting on June 1, 2025. Registration can be completed through the Program Calendar or by clicking the button below.  Registration opens at 12:00pm on June 1. Once you register, your confirmation email will include a link to a new form where you will let us know your reading preferences. Complete this form by June 6 so that we can begin choosing your book. Should you neglect to fill out the form, an Advisor will choose an interesting item from our collection for you without knowing your preferences. 
  
Step 1: Register for our July, September and November session on June 1 at 12:00pm. LitCrate availability is limited, so register for yours ASAP! 
 
Step 2: Head to your confirmation email and fill out the form to let us know your reading preferences no later than June 6.   
 
Step 3: Once we receive your reading preferences, we will choose your book, pack it into a box with surprise goodies for you to keep and get it ready for you to pick-up and check-out. 
  
Step 4: You will be notified when your LitCrate is ready to pick up. Don't worry, the book will still be a surprise! 
  
Step 5: Read and return the book, keep the goodies, and reuse or recycle the box.

Teen LitCrate

*Registration opens June 1 for July/August session.*

Welcome to Teen LitCrate! 

Registration for our summer session begins June 1. Pickups for the first box begins July 1 after email notification.  

Step 1: Register for our July and August summer session here on June 1! The registration form lets us know your reading likes and dislikes, what genres interest you, and other ways we can customize your boxes. LitCrate availability is limited, so register for yours ASAP!

Step 2: Once we receive your registration form, we will choose a book we think you'll love, pack it into a box with surprise goodies for you to keep, and get it ready to make its way to you!

Step 3: You will be notified when your LitCrate is being held for you to pick up around the 1st of the month. Don't worry, the book will still be a surprise!

Step 4: Read and return the book and box, but keep the goodies!

Step 5: Want to do it all over again? Upcoming session registration dates are: fall session opens September 1, winter session opens December 1, and spring session opens March 1.

This service is for teens in grades 7-12. If you have graduated high school, you are welcome to sign up for our LitCrate for adults!

Tween LitCrate

*Registration is now FULL for the April/May session. Check back on June 1st to register for the July/August session.*

Step 1: When registration opens, sign up on our programs calendar. Space is limited.

Step 2: Check your email for a confirmation which will contain a link to the registration form.

Step 3: Complete the form letting us know your reading likes and dislikes, and what genres interest you. Please complete the form by December 8th. Once we receive your registration form, we will choose a book we think you'll love, pack it into a crate with surprise goodies for you to keep.

Step 4: You will be notified when your LitCrate is being held for you to pick up around the 1st of the month. Don't worry, the book will still be a surprise! Check out your LitCrate using your library card.

Step 5: Read and return the book and crate and keep the goodies.

Step 6: Want to do it all over again? Revisit this programs calendar to sign up for our next LitCrate session.

This service is for tweens in grades 4-6. We also have LitCrate for teens and adults too! 

March 1, 2025 - Registration opens for April/May crates

June 1, 2025 - Registration opens for July/August crates

September 1, 2025 - Registration opens for October/November crates

December 1, 2025 - Registration opens for January/February crates
