Now that you are born again you have to start reading the word of God so that you know the Jesus you gave your life to. It will take you time for you to understand him. However know this there is no person who really knows him very well. We read the word of God in order to know his ways and laws. Knowing God is a process that will never end, even in eternity after this life we will still learn about him that is why it is very important for you not to despise doctrine but not every teaching will be profitable to the growth your spirit but is better to learn with the help of the Holy Spirit. You must ask the Holy Spirit to teach you about Jesus, to reveal his word to you and that is one of the things the Holy Spirit came to do on the earth. The life of a believer is an interesting life with God. This new life also has challenges make no mistake about it but the Lord Jesus Christ wil always help us to overcome every challenges that comes. Again we grow more in the knowledge of our God when we face challenges. You can say challenges are opportunities for us to be able to know our God more and the more of the manifestation of his power in our life. A life in Christ is a call to descipleship, a life to take up your cross to follow the master Jesus Christ.
