NOTES

In a world where justice is not always served, Nate and Amy are a dynamic duo that take it upon themselves to right the wrongs of their community. Nate, an ex-military white-hat hacker, and Amy, a resourceful investigative journalist, form an unstoppable team that embarks on a relentless mission to fight against the perpetrators of injustice.Their latest case involves Caterina Bianchi, an Italian woman from Sicily who owns a Sicilian cafe serving up delicious dishes such as Caponata, Arancini, Cannoli, Pistachio Cake, Sfincione, Bottarga, Panelle, Salsiccia alla Pizzaiola, Caciocavallo all'Argentiera, and Granita. Caterina invested her hard-earned money into a scheme created by the antagonist, hoping to grow her cafe into a franchise. Unfortunately, the scheme was a con and the antagonist was a criminal intent on stealing funds from people investing in the program. Caterina lost her investment and turned to Nate and Amy for help.Nate and Amy decided to create a High-Yield Investment Program (HYIP) of their own to entice the antagonist. They made it very professional and convincing with inflated financial projections, a fake website, and fake reviews. They introduced the antagonist to some friends acting as current seed investors who have made a lot of money from the program. The scheme was very appealing to the antagonist, who bought into it as an Angel investor hoping to augment his funds and learn how he can create his own copycat version of what he thought was a legitimate scheme.Nate and Amy put pressure on the antagonist for further funds, showing greater growth on investment until the money invested equaled the amount Caterina had lost. Once they reached this point, they folded the company and did not return the antagonist's money. Instead, they took the money they had stolen from the antagonist and gave it to Caterina, who was very grateful and offered them unlimited free visits to her cafe. Nate and Amy provided Caterina guidance on cybersecurity in general and advice on "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." The antagonist was angry that he had been taken advantage of, upset that he had lost money, but had respect for Nate and Amy for being able to pull the wool over his eyes with the very type of illegal scheme that he runs. Nate and Amy took the information they had gathered about the antagonist's schemes and handed it to a detective friend who vowed to take him down and return as much money as he could to the other victims of the antagonist. In the end, Caterina was happy now that she had her money back and was making steady progress towards gaining the finance she needed to launch her cafe as a franchise
