This is about my journey to the United States for the hopes of a better life. It puts you in the same shoes as the immigrant crossing the border with a realistic feel of what truly happens and how it feels to be an illegal alien in a foreign country. It's a story many can relate to as many struggles to make the American Dream a reality by surpassing poverty, rape, heartache, discrimination, domestic violence and drugs on the streets. It's a story of a young immigrant girl that became a single mother at a very young age, yet with no support overcame the statistics and stigmas that labeled her to become a failure. Through faith and personal will she took her tragedies, overcame them and became a successful business owner.
