A story..

I've been riding motorcycle most of my life. When riding, my friends and I tend to take the roads less traveled. We often go through small communities or past long forgotten buildings. I look at these and wonder about the people and the stories they could tell. What was once a bustling city. Is now a quiet town. I also enjoy the book more when you can make a connection with the author. Chapter 3 of this is about: Savanna Army Depot in Savanna, IL. As a former National Guardsmen. I spent many hours there training and recognize some of the buildings
Ms. Beard has photographed. I enjoyed this book. While travelling down the road. You see an overgrown house or neglected building and are curious. You will find this book to your liking.
Happy trails.....
