Thad Hamilton was a man whose life was on a treadmill, though he would not accept that he too was one of those mumbodies playing out an existence, leading a life of quiet desperation. Then, it changed, he had an auto accident and crossed over to the other side. Oh, sure... he too had always scorned "the light in the tunnel" as a bunch of bull-shit but there he was on some platform as if waiting for a train.
