On the Christmas Eve night on the Tatra pass, a tragedy occurs. Six years later, a miracle happens in the Masurian cottage on the lake. Some people, even if they had everything, will not be happy. Others have nothing and can enjoy life. Nathaniel wanted to belong to the latter. In the past he suffered a serious accident, then his beloved mother died, and now he has lost his roof over his head. He had nothing, but he gained freedom and could move into the unknown. Senna - a village lost in the forests in Masuria - was supposed to be just a short stop on his journey. He stopped in a small, abandoned cottage on the shore of the lake. A local legend said that whoever lives in it will lose what it loves. But what can threaten someone who has already lost everything? Will not fate finally reward a good heart and a noble soul?

"W sńiezṅą wigilijną noc na tatrzanśkiej przełęczy dochodzi do tragedii. Szesć́ lat poźńiej w mazurskiej chacie nad jeziorem staje się cud. Niektórzy ludzie, choćby mieli wszystko, nie będą szczęśliwi. Inni nie mają nic, a potrafią cieszyć się życiem. Nataniel należał do tych drugich. W przeszłości uległ poważnemu wypadkowi, potem zmarła jego ukochana mama, a teraz stracił jeszcze dach nad głową. Nie miał nic, ale zyskał wolność i mógł ruszać w nieznane. Senna – zagubiona wśród lasów wioska na Mazurach – miała być tylko krótkim przystankiem w jego podróży. Zatrzymał się w małej, opuszczonej chacie nad brzegiem jeziora. Miejscowa legenda głosiła, że ktokolwiek w niej zamieszka, straci to, co kocha. Ale co może grozić komuś, kto stracił już wszystko? Czy los nie mógłby w końcu nagrodzić dobrego serca i szlachetnej duszy?"
